Many parents are concerned about the safety of childhood vaccines, and my attention was caught by Mothering’s action alert about “Green Vaccines”. What the heck is a green vaccine? It sounds like an oxymoron to me.

Childhood vaccines contain a mercury preservative called thimerosal. there is much controversy about the preservative leadign to autism. A "green vaccine" would be a toxin free vaccine. Jenny McCarthy's son is autistic and she believes the theory of the vaccines, and she is doing a lot for autism. I have a 5-year-old autistic brother and we have been treating him for mercury intoxication and the improvement seen is amazing. There is alot on the internet about the issue and you will find both sides of the story!
