Farm payments failed IT systems could cost £500m

MPs slam ‘master class in bad decision making and incomplete testing of IT systems’ and warn the Rural Payments Agency’s disastrous implementation of the Single Payment Scheme for farmers, a failed £122m IT project could yet cost up to £500m.
