If you still believe there's no problem with global warming
Tabasco, a southern Mexican state is flooded.... that's right, its worse than New Orleans, this is the whole estate under water, leaving more than half a million people homeless, according to ABC news Australia (www.abc.net.au) "More than one million people have been affected and 80 per cent of the state is under water."
According to Red Cross international:
"An estimated 90% of the capital of Tabasco has been flooded, affecting over a million people, causing damage to crops and devastating livelihoods
"Currently 24,700 persons remain in approximately 59 shelters, managed by the Mexican Army, throughout the state of Tabasco"
"The Government of Mexico has declared a state of emergency in all 17 municipalities of Tabasco State. It also issued flood alerts for the neighboring state of Chiapas and began evacuating communities in high-risk areas"
"Humanitarian agencies and the government of Mexico are unable to reach many communities as a result of the flooded roadways and raging waters"
"Priority needs include food, water, health care and basic relief items, such as hygiene materials and clean up supplies."
As if this was not enough, Chiapas, one of the poorest states in Mexico, has also been affected by the recent storms, it appears that due to the heavy rains, a huge mudsilde got into Grijalva River and caused a 70 meter tall wave, that wiped out an entire town.
