The new Tory plan to sequester carbon may seem like a good idea, but it is really more about sweeping the issue of the tar sands, and the emission created by the tar sands, under the rug (or more accurately underground).

Greens Grab a Slice of the Ontario Voter Pie

 The Green Party of Ontario [GPO] may not have won a seat in the 2007 Ontario Provincial Election, but after their impressive showing last night it would be difficult to deny that they are indeed becoming a political threat within the Ontario (and quite possibly across the entire country).
The Green Parties best showing was in the riding of Bruce—Grey—Owen Sound, where candidate Shane Jolley gave the incumbent MMP and Progressive Conservative Candidate, Bill Murdoch, a run for his money.
