KCP&L and Aquila create a partnership to get energized about
(via www.oneregionalutility.com)
By integrating the operations of KCP&L and Aquila, customers will realize the benefits–clean, reliable, and affordable energy. Currently, KCP&L´s electricity prices are more than 30% below the national average. They have committed to accelerate cost savings to customers to ensure that everyone benefits. The savings will be significant and they will help control costs and mitigate future rate increases.
Though the partnership is already in place, approval is still being sought from the Missouri Public Service Commision.
