Here are the most efficient refrigerators, sorted by increasing energy usage. Your fridge is one of the biggest electricity users in your house. Replacing an old fridge will pay for itsself quickly. To determine the most efficient fridges, I grabbed a spread sheet from the Energy Star site, sorted by kilowatt hour (kWh), and exported it to a PDF, which you can dowload. Suprisingly, the most efficient models are not compact (dorm) fridges.

1989 Record for Solar-to-Grid Efficiency Finally Broken
