The Ontario government just announced the single largest conservation effort in Canadian history - with their pledge to save 50% of Ontario's share of Canada's Boreal Forest. An area roughly the size of Great Britian will now be saved from development forever. Way to go Canada!

Ontario starts electronic recycling program - slaps CPUs and TVs with fees

Today the environment minister is introducing a new fee on computers and tvs sold in Ontario. The fee is deigned to help recycle electronics and is the first step in a province wide recycling effort.
