This 100% biodiesel-powered, 78 ft wave-piercing trimaran aims to set an around-the-world speed record while maintaining a net zero carbon footprint. The Earthrace left Sagunto, Spain, on April 27, and has already made excellent time across the Atlantic, landing in Panama just 8 days later.

With boating season on the horizon I found this ecologically friendly boat very appropriate. It can be powered by  humans or by the sun.

The boat has a wide deck wherein you can relax with your family and friends, and you can even take a sun bath. It gives you both exercise and when done with that, you have the option of solar panel energy that can be used.

The Canadian and British this week have both set sail on separate hydrogen fuel cell boats, promotion clean energy and zero emissions.
