Bracelets with a Conscience
These bracelets are a wonderful conversation piece. Chic and funky but also make a statement about the wearer's commitment to recycling and a cleaner, healthier planet. A percentage of the proceeds of each sale are donated to environmental causes. The tabs are purchased from a non-profit org. that in turn donates all money to various charities. Each aspect of the business is looked at to meet both environmental and social responsibility goals.

The Heather Light Made From Waste PVC Pipe
I love items that are made from scraps otherwise thrown away. This hanging lamp made from PVC, makes a very contemporary and unique piece.Ironically manufactured from “waste†pipe found unused in abundanceon building sites. Heather actually takes her inspiration from a table lampbriefly featured in the scarface movie. Let’s hope she gets a similar cult following.

Robot Art Made From Recycled Parts
Gordon Bennett builds each robot from items found primarily in landfills. The sculptures range from 14″ to 25″ and cost anywhere from $950 to $6,000. Certainly for that price, these were not meant to be toys. The robots offer a new way to recycle old “junk†and certainly make good conversation starters.

Colorblock Recycled Bottle Lights
These hanging recycled glass bottle lights are a great idea, and great looking too. I olny wish I had thought of this first!Artist Jerry Kott takes used glass bottles, hand cuts them, then re-assembles the bottles, and polishes them to create these amazing colored sculptures. Each hanging light comes with a 14″ swag cord and is H17″ x 3″ diameter. Comes with a 40 watt frosted showcase bulb.

Make a Menger Sponge, a 3D fractal cube. Now you have a beautiful creation of business cards rendered useless by a change of company address and a great alternative to recycling. Reduce, reuse, and recycle!
