If you want to be depressed about the deforestation that is going on around the world, then Google’s got the ticket for you.

We hear all the time about the climate models scientists are putting together, and about the average rise in temperature throughout the globe. But it all seems a little bit abstract. Until you click on this link (assuming you have the most recent version of Google Earth.)

US residents can now check out what they’re being poisoned with by checking out this new tool provided by the US Environmental Protection Agency and Google Earth. Check for levels of carbon monoxide, lead, nitrogen oxides, VOCs, particulate matter, sulfur dioxide; and identify big emitters. A handy tool for deciding where to live if you're moving.
