
Green isn't just an emerging trend anymore. Companies such as Coca-Cola Enterprises, Ford, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, and the U.S. Postal Service all have VPs of sustainability. With energy costs punching holes in profits, enterprises need to find creative ways to reduce consumption and at the same time lower costs and yield green benefits.


It's national Turn off the TV week (April 21 - 27)... so why not go ahead unplug the thing, and get started on some of those green projects you've been holding off on. Make some recycled art with the kiddo's, put up the poles outside so you can hang your laundry, go for a hike, laugh, relax, play!! Submit you're green accomplishments & be an inspiration to others.

The idea is simple and based upon the problem that most of the fruit that makes it into our grocery stores is transported great distances (1,000+ miles on average). All this energy, while a large percentage of fruit in people’s backyard simply goes to waste because most homeowners lack the time and interest to properly share or store this food.
