My favourite Fair Trade find of 2007: This texturally exquisite cushion cover was created through Better World Arts Cross Cultural Projects. This particular cushion was designed by Brenda Williamson of Kaljiti Arts in the Anangu/Pitjantjatjara/Yankunytjatjara lands in central Australia and chain-stitched by skilled Kashmiri artisans with the highest quality Kashmiri wool.

Those with an appreciation for innovation in the design process will get a kick out of the direction taken by Sweden’s, Front, in their Design by Animals Project.
